Eva Solano is an artist and designer based in Madrid. Although she works with different medium her main focus is in drawing and in the use of space and colour. She has a degree in Fine Arts from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and from the Hochschule der Künste Berlin where she was part of Rebecca Horn’s workshop. Since 2007 works as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and lecturer at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. Her personal work has been exhibited at the Theatre Hall Pradillo (Madrid), Galería GaleríaMadisMad(Madrid), Swallow Gallery (Barcelona), Swab ArFair (Barcelona), Space BGallery (Granada), Stiftung Starke Gallery (Berlín),among others. She has also taught various workshops for the Sala de Arte Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid, La Casa Encendida Madrid and Matadero Madrid. Among her clients are El Pais Semanal, The agency Ms. Rushmore, Universal Records, Casa Decor, Artempus and Goethe Institut.
