Big names round out field for Delray Beach Open February 13-22

2009 US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro leads a group of four newly committed players who have signed with the Delray Beach Open by The Venetian® Las Vegas to play in its ATP World Tour event February 13-22, marking its best pre-tournament singles field in its history. Also announcing their participation in Delray Beach are top American John Isner, 2012 Delray Beach champion Kevin Anderson and rising world Top 25 Alexandr Dolgopolov. The latest group of players, with the earlier signing of 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic, gives the tournament four Top 25 players to lead its 2015 field. Cilic (No. 9), Anderson (No. 16) and Isner (No. 18) also all finished in the 2014 year-end Top 20 rankings. “Two US Open champions, three Delray Beach champions, our top American - that says it all about our singles draw,” said tournament director Mark Baron. “With the world No. 1 Bryan Brothers leading our doubles draw, we’ve established 2015 as a year to see champions play in Delray Beach.” In addition to the ATP World Tour tournament, the Delray Beach Open by the Venetian also features an ATP Champions Tour competition that leads off the 10-day event starting on Friday of President’s Weekend and wrapping up on Sunday (Feb. 13-15, 2015). Now renamed as Crane’s Beach House Boutique Hotel & Luxury Villas, this $750,000 renovation started in July and the four new villas are now available for guests, starting at $599 per night. “Crane’s Beach House Hotel was proud to partner with Carrie Leigh Designs, a full service licensed interior design firm based in Delray Beach. This dramatic conversion of four suites into dazzling luxury villas is just the first phase of a major multi-year remodeling project that will strengthen and solidify our brand as the coolest place to stay in Delray Beach,” said Ms. Balestriere. “The vision for the villas was to keep the artsy charm of Crane’s Beach House while enhancing the ‘beach chic’

Exhibit at Old School Square to feature more than 100 racecars, exotics, and classics

ore than 100 racecars, classics and muscle cars will be on display Thursday Jan. 8 at SuperCar Delray, a one-of-a-kind car show benefiting Wheels from the Heart, a local charity that provides cars to single mothers. “We’re very excited to be bringing our SuperCar show to Delray Beach for the first time,” says Neil London, president of SuperCar Week, which produces SuperCar Sunday – one of Florida’s largest waterfront car shows – and a week of events leading up to it. “SuperCar Delray is a free, fun-

experience with modern European touches,” added designer Carrie Leigh Bollella. “The overall color scheme in each villa evoke a calm luxurious atmosphere, building on the surrounding ocean village environment, and guests will feel like they have entered their dream vacation home.” With its newly opened luxury villas, Crane’s Beach House Hotel now combines its traditional, laid-back Key Westlike environment – just footsteps away from both bustling Atlantic Avenue nightlife and a pristine Atlantic Ocean beach – with all the high tech amenities that today’s sophisticated travelers desire. For example, highlights of the new exclusive and secluded villas include large, flat screen Smart TVs with access to NetFlix, Bluetooth and WiFi. The new villas at Crane’s Beach House also feature the Beausommet mattress by Essentia, the “World’s Only Natural Memory Foam mattress.” The resort is the first property in Florida to feature theses highly-acclaimed mattresses, providing a healthy, luxurious stay for guests. There will also be a display of “Art Cars” on hand as well. “Many of the cars that will be on display will be coming from local car enthusiasts and collectors,” London said. “Several of these cars will be from private car museums not open to the public.” Representatives of Wheels from the Heart will be at the event providing information about the organization, which in 2014 gave 15 vehicles to single mothers.
