No-Bake Granola Bars INGREDIENTS: 1 cup dried plums or prunes, pitted 1 cup *almonds, sliced or chopped 1 ½ cup rolled oats ¼ cup dried cranberries ¼ cup agave nectar (can use maple syrup or honey) ¼ cup *peanut butter ¼ cup dark chocolate chips DIRECTIONS:

Finely chop the dried plums until texture becomes creamy. In a large bowl place chopped dried plums, almonds, oats and cranberries. Set aside. Warm honey and peanut butter in a saucepan over low heat, stir. Pour over oat mixture and then mix, breaking up the dates to combine throughout. Add chocolate chips and mix again. Transfer to a small pan lined with wax paper so they lift out easily. Press down until uniformly flattened. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to harden. Once harden, remove from pan and cut into even bars. Makes 10 bars *Food allergy caution: contains peanut butter and almond ingredients. Recipe: adapted from minimalistbaker.com
