The publication Maak Plaats! (Make Place!) presents a new vision on the use of space in the province of Noord-Holland. The time is ripe for transit-oriented development; a smart growth strategy focused on a more efficient use of the existing city and its existing infrastructure network. This new strategy will bring new opportunities for the Netherlands with its unique small-scale urban structure and network.
