THE
TEMPTATIONS
THURSDAY 7:30P.M.
SEPTEMBER06
Flash, Flare and Class. For more than forty years, The Temptations have toured with a series of smash hits, and sold-out performances throughout the world. The Smokey Robinson written-and-produced “The Way You Do the Things You Do” turned the guys into stars. An avalanche of hits followed, ”My Girl,” “Since I Lost My Baby,” “Get Ready,” “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” “Beauty Is Only Skin Deep,” “I Wish It Would Rain”...the hits kept coming.
“Expert comic timing.” -New York Post
SUNDAY 7:30P.M.
“...brings chuckles ...rave reviews ...guffaws ...and bipartisan grins all around.” -Wall Street Journal
OCTOBER07
Just in time for election season, America’s most hilarious political satirists inject a much-needed dose of humor and musical madness into the serious business of politics. The Capitol Steps began as a troupe of former Congressional Staffers
(mostly) who travel the country satirizing the people and places that once employed them. The Capitol Steps have recorded 31 albums” They have been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS.

KING’S SINGERS SUNDAY 2:00P.M.
NOVEMBER04
“…they are still unmatched for their sheer musicality and ability to entertain.” -The Times, London “Fusing forms, timbres and styles, they turn education and entertainment into art and back again.” -The New York Times
“They are YOUNG, AFFABLE, and FUNNY, and they produce music that is at once interesting and easy to listen to.” -The Wall Street Journal
One of the world’s most celebrated ensembles. The King’s Singers remain consummate entertainers—a class-act with a delightfully British wit. They are instantly recognizable for their spot-on intonation, impeccable vocal blend, flawless articulation, and incisive timing.
Performance sponsored by The Sanders Family.
FRIDAY 7:30P.M.
NOVEMBER16 SHREK THE MUSICAL, based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone’s favorite ogre to life on stage. In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre – not a handsome prince – shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won’t shut up, a villain with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand… and his name is Shrek.
Featuring a terrific score of 19 all-new songs, big laughs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery.
SHREK THE MUSICAL

DECEMBER09
Bring sparkle to the season and rekindle fond memories. Join us for a celebration of holiday music, featuring festive seasonal favorites from our talented Delta State music community and other artists from Mississippi. Produced by the Delta Music Institute in partnership with the Delta State University Music Department and The Bologna Performing Arts Center, this show will add just the right touch to the holiday season.
Eden Brent Much more than the blues flows through Brent’s talented hands. Critics laud her “Bessie Smith meets Diana Krall meets Janis Joplin” attitude, and wax effusively about her “whiskey-smoke” voice. She is frequently compared to jazz/pop dynamos Norah Jones and Sarah Vaughn.
