l

We work on an income-neutral model. This is an ethical and inclusive approach with no charges, no SLAs and no hidden costs. We do not ask professional partners for money, because that’s not how friendship works.

Engagement A school, Multi Academy Trust, organisation or Local Authority contact The Education Exchange. They want to work in partnership with The Education Exchange on a school improvement project.

Implementation A team made up of Education Exchange members implement the school improvement project. These members are experienced experts in the specific area of change. The project aligns to The Education Exchange member’s current practice within their setting.

Embedding The partner school embeds the change in partnership with The Education Exchange team. This can involve further visits, joint moderation, assessment cycles, further resource or training.

Impact Impact of the project is measured. This and feedback from the partner school informs the project evaluation. All evaluations are reviewed in order to continuously reflect and improve.

Growth Partner schools are invited to join The Education Exchange as members. As members, they will offer expertise and time in areas where they have had successful school improvement. This is the part we all play in putting something back into The Education Exchange’s future projects.

Speakers Speakers John Volanthen British Exploratory Diver & Innovator

John is a world record-holding British exploratory cave diver who specialises in rescues through the Cave Rescue Organisation, South and Mid Wales Cave Rescue, and the British Cave Rescue Council. John hit the headlines in July 2018, when he was part of the multi-national team involved in the rescue of 12 young football players and their coach in the Tham Luang caves in Thailand. John and his co-diver, Rich Stanton, were the first to make contact with the missing youngsters when they had been lost for nine days. Both men were part of the team that successfully rescued all the boys and their coach and brought them to safety. John gives audiences an astonishing account of the harrowing rescue effort. With heart-pounding anecdotes from the high-risk rescue mission, he hammers home the importance of perseverance, determination, and preparation, and explains why he believes success in life is rarely due to “luck.” John also shares his belief that anyone can rise to the occasion and achieve extraordinary things in the face of insurmountable odds. Uplifting and inspiring, John’s story is one in a million.

Launchpad for Literacy These projects are delivered alongside the Launchpad for Literacy creator. Launchpad for literacy is a systematic, skillbased approach, enabling you to improve outcomes in the Early Years and beyond by identifying and closing specific skills gaps. It ensures that practitioners have a greater level of diagnostic capability, establishing reasons and solutions to underpin informed interventions. The Education Exchange delivers some live training sessions specifically around EYFS and the new framework. It also provides a platform of training videos and resources, developed by Delta. The Education Exchange resources dovetail but do not overlap with the resources provided by Launchpad for Literacy. Our training focuses on the insights and experiences from current practitioners. The platform also provides a network for practitioners to request support and collaborate further (such as visits to observe effective practice).

Feedback Feedback As CEO, the training given would be one of the best CPD sessions that I have experienced. It provided a very practical approach to one of the biggest challenges for Trust Leaders to address; a methodology for accurate school self-evaluation based on a rigorous quality assurance system. Cathy Taylor, CEO The Constellation Trust

I am so grateful for the support that the Education Exchange provided us to support our project to align Learning Platforms across our Trust. From the start the clear communication made sure that the support provided matched our need exactly. They offered regular catch up meetings to review progress of the project and was happy to adapt to our requests along the way. The final report was exactly what we had hoped for and provides us with clarity moving forwards. Tom Hill, The Olympus Academy Trust

The staff involved have spoken so highly of the experience. It has been billed as being the best CPD ever! In a world where everything carries such a high price, it is so refreshing to have professional generosity at the heart of this organisation. A heartfelt thank you for this inspirational vision. Deeanne Smith, Gosforth Central Middle School 16

Watching Aysha teach the Year 3 lesson was excellent and gave me a lot of ideas that I can transfer to my own practice, particularly how to reinforce the sticky knowledge that we want the children to retain. I am using the same technique in class and am already seeing it have a positive impact on the children’s retention of key knowledge. Year 3 Teacher, Delta Academies Trust

i just want to thank you for the amazing resource that you have created with Book-led curriculum. I wanted to make you aware that in my 9(ish) years of teaching, I have never been so confident as I have been this term knowing that I am actually teaching curriculum as it should be. Secondary Academy Teacher, Delta Academies Trust

We worked with the Education Exchange this year on a project that shared practice, provided CPD and supported research projects testing new IT practice and capturing impact. It was a schools-led project, supported by The Education Exchange and two local academies. Leaders were sourced to support the participants with experience relevant to their areas of research, bringing additional teaching best practice and knowledge. I’m in no doubt the project would have been significantly less successful without the support of the Education Exchange. More broadly, the Education Exchange are in the process of supporting the role out of Power BI across a number of Doncaster secondary academies, bringing significant expertise to enable others to create powerful data management systems. The breadth and quality of support available is truly impressive, it sounds too good to be true at first until you see it being delivered first-hand. Robin MacNeill, Doncaster Opportunity Area Programme Manager
