With a formal graphic design background informing my continued creative work, I am intrigued by a process that first explores and examines my subjects and topics photographically. Inspired from the fleeting, but powerful moments experienced and now captured digitally, I use these images as the first set of stepping stones in my journey to clarify, reveal, and emphasize what I feel is so significant about each. Turning to a variety of traditional art media, I use the strengths of each to unveil what touches my heart the most. From one completed work to another, there is a continued evolution of my work that is a documentation of my development as an artist who is insatiably curious with a desire to seek beauty from multiple points of view.
