Syd n e y Wa rre n is in herfirst season as a graduate assistant athletics trainerin charge ofNorthwestern State softball. As an undergraduate student at James Madison,Warren assisted with softball, women’s basketball, cross country and trackand field. Warren gained experience in concussion protocol and lowerlimb rehabilitation among otherareas. She also assisted with numerous sports at Stuarts Draft High School in Virginia, helping with football, otherfall and wintersports and cheerleading. Warren is a memberofthe National AthleticTraining Association, Mid-Atlantic AthleticTraining Association and theVirginia AthleticTraining Association. Warren is AED/CPR certified with the Red Cross.

Qu a n t a viou s Th om p k in s began his first season as a Northwestern State graduate assistant strength coach this past fall. Thompkins interned at Georgia fora year, leading a modified injured group and demonstrating otherweight lifting and running fundamentals. Otherrelated stops include a summerinternship atWofford College and a fall internship as a physical therapist intern at NHC Healthcare in Greenwood, South Carolina. He is certified in CSCS, CPR, AED and First Aid. He’s been involved with a juvenile outreach program, FCA leadership, the Lander rugby team and was a memberofthe Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Thompkins has an exercise science degree from LanderUniversity (2017).
