Welcome. This document will introduce the new visual identity for the Banana Moon Day Nursery franchise and give details of what is expected of each nursery to uphold the brand. Our logo, colour palette, typeface and marketing materials have been updated to support the move to a cleaner and more modern vision. Taken together, the new visual identity and brand proposition establish Banana Moon as a market leader - one that stands out from everyone else in the marketplace.
It’s written all over our typeface. Our new identity features a soft, geometric typeface with rounded strokes. Reminiscent of colourful alphabet magnets, the typeface communicates the friendly, approachable nature of Banana Moon. Technically, the font improves versatility with optimised spacing and kerning for print and display. It also supports extensive languages such as Western European, Central and Eastern European languages. Available in 8 versatile styles, all weights contain the same Opentype features with case-sensitive forms, stylistic alternates, localised forms, standard ligatures, lining and old-style figures.

Our new world of colour. To support the range and quantity of marketing materials produced by each nursery, we have developed a colour palette that can be used to add variety. Whilst the layout, logo position, font and overall style will remain consistent – maintaining the visual integrity of the Banana Moon brand – each communication can be coloured differently, resulting in a fresh look every time.

Introducing... The Wiggle. Promotional, advertising and internal materials are transformed with our new identity system. By using bold, colourful shapes we can divide up communications in an infinite number of arrangements. This provides a dynamic space for text, photography and illustration to come to life.

Wallpaper and paint. In each of the main rooms a wall will be identified for your feature wallpaper and paint. *All paint colours are Dulux and the below must be used for each feature wall: Under-twos Banana Dream 5 Azure Sky 6

All other walls must be painted in Brilliant White, choosing Satin or eggshell to allow your walls to be a ‘little’ washable. When refurbishing your nursery, you must ensure that you are using these colours. Failure to do so will result in the franchisor, Banana Moon Day Nursery Ltd, requesting that you re-paint at your expense to bring the nursery in line with the required colour scheme.
