The last eight weeks have been some of the most challenging times we will experience in our lifetime, but I am positive there is a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. We have worked incredibly hard to adapt our showroom environments, develop new processes and brief all our employees ahead of your visit. Dealership re-opening In order to re-open safely and in accordance with government guidelines, we will be doing so in a series of phases, starting with the re-opening of selected Servicing Departments on Monday 18th May 2020. The timeline below details the planned phase return of all other departments at selected Arbury Motor Group showrooms.

Monday 18th May The Service Department will reopen by appointment only for servicing, MOTs and repairs. The sites opening are: Walsall, Bromsgrove, Nuneaton Peugeot, and Ĺ KODA Leamington Spa.

Tuesday 26th May All sales outlets will reopen, with limited staff and by appointment only. The team will be working to facilitate current orders and deliveries of cars that have been delayed whilst closed, so please continue to bear with us while we work through these orders. Selected Service Departments will now also open but will operate by appointment only and with limited staff.

Monday 1st June We will continue to follow the government updates and guidelines, and if all is well we hope to fully reopen all of our dealerships for Sales and Service on Monday 1st June. Changes we have made 2m Social Distancing

At Arbury Motor Group the health and safety of our employees and customers is, and always has been, of paramount importance, which is why we have implemented procedures to protect all that do visit our showrooms.

Contactless Transactions

To ensure we continue to abide by government guidelines we will work in a slightly different way to normal, including: •

There will be reduced number of employees at each location

Guidelines will be displayed at the showroom entrance and we would urge you to read these before entering the building

Strict social distancing must be adhered to if you visit one of our showrooms

Anyone that plans to visit our showrooms will go through a check-in process, including sanitisation of their car with spray or wipes

All cars will be sanitised again before returned to the customer

A strict one way system will be in operation at all our locations

All visits to our showroom will be by appointment only

Sanitisation

Further care for your vehicle

All vehicles attending a service, MOT or repair work appointment will be taken through a strict sanitisation process upon arrival using Supagard Sanitisation equipment, which kills more than 99% of germs, viruses and bacteria. Before the vehicle is returned to you, it will once again be sanitised. Find out more >>

Awaiting your new vehicle? We have a number of customers awaiting delivery of their newly purchased vehicle and our team are currently contacting all those affected and will be offering either a ‘click & collect’ or ‘home delivery service’. During both of these offerings, Arbury Group ask customers to adhere to social distancing recommendations, keeping a distance of 2 metres always and where possible our team will use phone or video communication to ensure you are fully informed prior to taking delivery of your new vehicle. If you fall into one of the ‘at risk’ categories described by the NHS, if you are showing symptoms or if you are self-isolating we would ask you to please cancel any appointment and we will work with you to reschedule your delivery.

Click & Collect and Home Delivery Safety Measures We have implemented a number of changes to our process to protect both our customers and employees.

Only one delivery person will be allowed to drive your vehicle.

On arrival you will be greeted and your details checked, and staff will maintain a 2-metre distance.

An explanation of your car features and a walkaround will be given, again with a 2-metre distance.

You will be directed to a pre-prepared handover video which will give you more detail on your car and its features.

You should wait a suitable period of time before entering your vehicle.

Your vehicle will be sanitised before handover.

Wherever possible, paperless transactions will be requested. Where this is not possible and a physical signature is required, we will do this whilst maintaining 2-metre distance, and a new or sanitised pen will be included, which you will be asked to keep.

Protective equipment will be removed from the vehicle, with all touchpoints sanitised in front of you. You will then be invited to do a visual check of the vehicle, whilst maintaining a 2-metre distance. You will be provided a document pack and keys in a clear plastic wallet that can be posted through your letterbox should you require a ‘no-contact’ appointment.

The Arbury employee will be wearing appropriate personal protection.

Helping the community We are so proud to have serviced the midlands for the past 20 years, and to have been able to continue to do so from afar throughout this national pandemic. Here is a snapshot of what we have been up to for the last six weeks of lockdown!

Arbury in Lichfield have been playing their part to help the community by lending a Peugeot van to Dean & Smedley Ltd
