EPP week 14 Deniesha Carter This process is used to cut into cornered or curved shapes. First each shape must be made into separate group’s then right clock on the image select intersect faces and select with model.
You will then be left with the outline of the shape you have deleted, from this you will be able cut into the structure that remains.
Here is an example of my own work where I have cut a circle for a window in a tower. I started by using the circle tool, pulling it to create a tube shape and offsetting the middle leaving it hollow. I then grouped it and put it through the tower, i8ntersected the faces and removed the tube leaving a cut throught.
Here I have tried another example by creating an arched window and adding a balcony
