Had a few realisation’s this weekend that I wanted to share with you. For once I am posting this here as well as sending to our subscribers. I believe that it is so important. It is a very wet Tuesday here in the lakes in England.Though my spirits are still high from a great seminar we attended this past weekend. Sharon is away this week delivering a training course….more about that in a couple of days. It was a another great lesson from this week. So back to the event, it was all about life contribution and profit. As usual we came away with learning’s and more than we expected. Having time to spend thinking about our business, masterminding and getting feedback on our challenges was priceless. We wanted to share a couple of realisations with you this week. Here are a couple to get you going…………

Hang out with your target market and pay for the privilege. Talking to like-minded business owners is one thing. Being able to understand their issues and concerns is another.Over a period of a few days (and nights!) we discovered more about the perception people have of what we do. Before we talk about you we will share what happened for us…………. The truth that nobody really understands what SEO is or how it can help their business. That many people think that SEO is a dark art. Clouded in mystery and expense,without the appreciation that it can ultimately enable Expert business owners the ability to gain sales leads. That there are some amazingly gifted men and women out their that can make other men and women’s lives richer, both metaphorically and literally. That these experts need clients to serve and consistent ways of getting them. That it is our job to explain what we do in a way that people “get it”. So what about you ? Do you know what your market thinks about the service you provide. Do you just throw a load of random features and benefits at them? How can you explain the true value of what you bring that relates to their big issue? So here is a major take away from this weekend.
Spend time with our market and ask them questions. If they glaze over when you talk about what you do for them. Change your pitch till they get it. Then put it on your website or blog!
