Website Content writing is the one strategy we ALWAYS recommend to clients who need more traffic to their websites.
It is the one consistent strategy that seems to work. The thing is Google loves content. All the recent updates prove that. All the websites that have content added on a regular basis that is, relevant and unique content get higher search engine rankings and more traffic. If there is one skill to learn it is website Content writing.
So here are our 3 tips to get you going:
1.Write with Search Engines in Mind Google is looking to match you up with people searching for your content or the solutions that your writing brings. First of all use the Google keyword tool or your favourite paid tool. Add your word and look at the search numbers. The longer the phrase the better. Don’t go for something crazy that has thousands of searches! Go for something smaller that is less competitive.

For instance the keyword I have used is website content writing. I have added tips onto the end. This gives me a sporting chance of being found. Now SEO and online marketing are very very competitive. My suspicion is your market is nowhere near this challenging. When you take some time to do your keyword research you will escalate your chances of success no end. Choose a word with less than 30,000 competing other webpages and you stand a great chance of appearing on page one.
2. Create a list or Numbers
In today’s world everything seems to be done at speed. Unless you live in a village like we do! Web surfers and readers have very little patience and are looking for quick solutions. Having a figure in your title generally means you get more readers.
There are so many different numbers you can use to engage your readers. A while ago there was a spate of 25 lists. Generally we find 3 or 7 great numbers to use.
7 because it has a perceived retention value in our very large brains. According to NLP and the study of Excellence we can remember 7 plus or minus 2 bits of information.
The number 3 I like. It is pretty magical and makes it easier to write around.
3. Format your content.
So many articles and blog posts can appear daunting to read at first glance. All content and poorly spaced. The whole point of writing web content is to make it useful and readable for your audience. Space out your content. Add bullet points. Bold out information and your keywords.

Use a couple of images where it is appropriate. If you have time summarise at the end with a few action points that your reader can go away and move on. In this article you will notice that we have a quick summary at the end so that people can take action on what we suggest.

Then write 3 things under each heading

Format your content and add your keywords in your title and in each paragraph
