Brick & Mortar The COS Touch collection will only be available at selected stores around the world. The aim is to have the collection available in the majority of the countries with COS stores. In the case of countries with multiple COS stores, the largest stores or the stores in more affluent or relevant areas (such as high footfall due to location) were selected to stock the capsule collection. The full COS Touch collection will only be available in a limited number of stores such as Flaghsips and stores in key areas. This is to ensure the collection maintains its exclusivity as well as offering products relevant to each market. Factors such as footfall, spending power and climate have been taken into consideration when deciding the distribution of the garments to stores which will not stock the full range. A detailed list, which can be found on page 30, will be available to the public on the COS website at www.cosstores.com/touch/findstore as well as on the newly launched mobile app, for full accessibility.
E-tail & M-commerce The full COS Touch collection will also be available online on the COS website as well as on the COS mobile app. The stock will be limited to preserve exclusivity.

THE IDEA A capsule collection for the COS brand created in collaboration with a team of young creatives incorporating elements and influences from fine art, architecture and graphic design.
RATIONALE Design collaborations have proved to be succesful in the global fashion enviroment from a marketing point of view. The choice of collaborating with a team of creatives was made to preserve brand image and maintain consistency. Art collaborations are most relevant to COS : the COS brand has a reputation of supporting art and artist collaborations. COS has been a long-time supporter of the Serpentine Galleries, has been present with original pop-ups at the Salon del Mobile in Milano several times, has created garments and accessories in collaboration with artist as well as supporting and featuring new and exciting talent on their social media outlets. Creating an entire capsule collection integrating the influences of a team of creatives seemed like the natural development for the COS brand.

Anne Holtrop - Bio
ANNE HOLTROP ARCHITECT
Anne Holtrop (born 1977, The Netherlands) graduated cum laude in architecture from the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam in 2005 and is currently based in Amsterdam and Bahrain. His work ranges from models to temporary spaces and buildings. This year the first two major buildings: the Museum Fort Vechten and the National Pavilion of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will open. He is course director of the master Studio for Immediate Spaces at the Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam, and was editor of OASE, an architectural journal for architecture from 2005 till 2013. For his practice he has has been awarded several grants from the Mondrian Fund, as well as receiving the Charlotte Kรถhler Prize for Architecture from the Prince Bernhard Cultural Foundation.

LUCY MERRIMAN GRAPHIC DESIGNER Camille Walala is a purveyor of powerfully positive digital print. A graduate in Textile Design from the University of Brighton, her namesake brand was established in East London in 2009, where she continues to live. Recent work has seen her progressing from her popular textile based range to include Art Direction, Interior Design and a continued love affair with popup restaurants, where her love for food and design are brought to life. Influences include the Memphis Movement, the Ndebele tribe and Optical Art master Vasarely alongside the simple desire to put a smile on people’s faces. Her signature POP style present a boundless energy that work perfectly for show-stopping and social spaces - “the bigger the better”.

POETIC LAB FINE ART Poetic Lab is a London-based joint studio founded by designer Hanhsi Chen and Shikai Tseng after they met and graduated from Royal College of Art in London. The duo shares a central design philosophy of the studio - poetry of objects and materials, while they acquired very diversed experiences before they decided to work together, which enables them to shape an object from multiple perspectives. The duo teamed up for an joint exhibition in SaloneSatellite 2013 called Beyond Object, where they showcasing a collection of objects composed by light and shadows. The results were better than expected, they claimed winner of the design report award, and third prize of Salone Satellite Award, both with the project Glass Ripple. The success soon led to an dedicated decision of a permanent joint studio - Poetic Lab.
