01. FREE SITE INSPECTION

Take the first step towards building your dream home.

Provide a clear copy of the land title, plan of subdivision or Section 32.

Your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist will perform a no obligation preliminary site inspection. We may identify potential construction implications such as overhead power lines, parking restrictions, adjoining structures on boundaries, site access issues or vegetation.

Your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist will conduct preliminary research which may identify town planning requirements, restrictive covenants or local council requirements of your block.

Your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist will take the time to get to know you and your family.

Discuss your ideas, styles and vision with your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist to help us gain a true understanding of how we can bring it all to life.

Your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist will work with you and recommend a home design that suits your block, to create a beautiful space that resonates with your lifestyle and personal aesthetic.

Provide you with an overview of your site feasibility, any construction constraints, floorplan and estimated price.

03. INITIAL DEPOSIT

Pay an initial deposit of $3,000.

Obtain a soil test report, detailed site survey, re establishment survey and property service information.

Work with your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist and sign off an initial sales agreement, including a preliminary mark‑up plan, preliminary estimate, preliminary siting plan and Authority to Proceed.

04. CONFIRMATION

Review every detail for peace of mind.

Your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist will present the Confirmation Document including plans and pricing.

Work with your Knockdown Rebuild Specialist to finalise your variations and sign the Confirmation Document. Pay Confirmation Deposit of $5,000.

05. PREPARE FOR DEMOLITION

Prepare for a new beginning.

Arrange the installation of an underground electricity pit through your energy provider prior to construction commencing.

Order an arborist report and apply for a tree or vegetation removal permit if required.

Notify the tenants if applicable.

Arrange disconnection and removal of all necessary existing services to the property to ensure that the existing home will be demolished in a safe manner.

Including where applicable:

Sewer and Stormwater disconnections.

Water disconnection.

Gas disconnection.

Electrical disconnection.

Telecommunications and Internet disconnection.

06. TOWN PLANNING & REPORT AND CONSENT (IF REQUIRED)

We help you navigate the process.

Assist you with town planning drawings and a relevant planning report. Our appointed Town Planner will then guide you through the planning process.

Assist you with the Report and Consent application via the local council, if required.

Once your town planning application or Report and Consent (if required) is approved, we’ll start to prepare your HIA building contract.

07. SHOWROOM APPOINTMENT

Work with one of our experienced Interior Designers to select the style and finishes that will bring your vision to life.

Make the choices that will make your new home truly your own. Choose details like Caesarstone®, your brick colours, tiles, carpet, and appliances. This is the time to add the finishing touches to your dream.

See your dream home come to life both inside and out with Vision, our state of the art colour visualisation tool.

We’ll advise you of colour upgrade costs.

Sign off on your colour and electrical variations. These will be included in your Housing Industry Association (HIA) building contract.

09. BUILDING PERMIT

Our Pre-site Coordinator will apply for a building permit.

Review your final construction plan and sign it off.

Demolish your old home and provide us with a vacant and clean block or site.

Arrange the second soil test. Our highly skilled Site Supervisor will conduct an inspection to confirm that the site meets our requirements to commence building.

10. CONSTRUCTION

See your dream come to life.

Your Site Supervisor will communicate with you frequently about the progress of construction, so that you can relax while your vision becomes a reality.
