7,4 million live in London It is estimated that the number of inhabitants in London will increase with 810,000 by 2016 There are 3,100,000 dwellings in London
500,000 new dwellings to be build within the next 10 years. it is estimated that the number single dwellings is 290.000 40 % of new dwellings to be build on empty sites
What if we could meet the need earlier and use the existing empty sites now
Motivation and background
... and create temporary dwellings for temporary tenants
We could prefabricate a 30 foot ISO container complete with interior, that could be placed and plugged in on an empty site. When building work would start on the site the mobile dwellings could be moved to a different site.

Has a rich social life and therefor spends a lot of time outside the home Works or lives in London limited amount of time

The core acts as Kitchen, bathroom, storage and conceals all internal service connections The intergrated bed/daybed can be stored away to make

As the doors acts as openings and space dividers the hitch must be able to turn 240’
As part of living in a multipurpose space the attached table can be stored away and slides on the wall mounted bar.
As the table is folded away the table leg folds flush with the underside of the table top.
