Take your passion outside of the classroom and make a difference in the world You will not come to the College of Health and Human Development to sit at a desk. You will have the chance to put into practice what you have learned in the classroom. Whether it is taking part in a research project in California, visiting the headquarters of an industry leader in New York City, or education abroad experience in China, you will have the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.

Majors Athletic Training Become an athletic trainer by building an understanding of health sciences to promote optimum health and wellness.

Biobehavioral Health Explore biological, behavioral, social/cultural, and environmental factors that influence health throughout life.

Communication Sciences and Disorders Study with a national leader in training health care professionals in speech language pathology and audiology.

Health Policy and Administration Prepare for a career or graduate study in health management and health care, by taking courses in liberal arts, business, and health sciences.

Hospitality Management Gain experience in managing hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other hospitality organizations by coupling general education with hospitality management courses and more than 1,000 hours of work experience.

Human Development and Family Studies Learn more about the development of individuals and families across the life span through an innovative and interdisciplinary program.

Kinesiology Prepare for a profession involving physical activity, exercise, and the science of human movement and its relationship to human health.

Nutritional Sciences Explore how to incorporate physiological and biochemical aspects of nutritional practices and their impact on physical well-being.

Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management Impact individual and community health by studying the social, psychological, and economic aspects of recreation, tourism, and leisure.
