Sunken The Bryant Park sunken design was intended to create an elegant addition while disrupting as little of the historic park as possible. This was done through the use of a simple 4 point circulation system providing pedestrians two points of entry directly from busy walking zones. The cabs have their own set of entry points to allow for easy exits and entries onto the proposed purple and green lines.

Studio Apartment For this project, Sketchup was used to model a highly detailed studio apartment within an existing shell of exterior walls. Being a combination of mid-century and industrial, the model focused on showcasing building structure and simple geometric forms. Once imported into 3DS Max, lighting and materials were introduced to the space giving it a truly industrial loft feeling. Photoshop was utilized to create 3 seamless textures from photographs as well as the post-processing stage of the renderings to add the window view, tweak lighting, and fix texture glitches from the rendering software.
23
24
Hotel Lobby Based on floor plans provided, this project utilized Rhino to model the lobby of a hotel as well as a chair to be used in the space. Using past experience with Rhino, this project was modeled to be as detailed as possible through the lobby and surrounding context, as well as through the dynamic forms for the chair. The space was brought into Lumion where lighting, materials, people, furniture, and detail clutter were implemented to make the space feel alive. Photoshop was used to post-process lighting elements, shadows, and visual effects. This project included a 1.5 minute virtual tour through the space created using Lumion’s animation software.

North 7th Redevelopment A redesign of an old project, this proposal for an office redevelopment in Downtown Seattle was fully designed and modeled using Rhino to showcase interconnection between the 4 block area, 4 towers, and surrounding plaza which spans over 7th Avenue. The model was then imported into Twinmotion where lighting, materials, people, natural elements and effects were applied. Photoshop was used to postprocess lighting and material hues. This included a virtual tour of exterior and interior spaces using Twinmotion’s animation software.
