Compared to our Texas and Oklahoma collections, the leaves on this Arkansas selection are slightly larger and more yellow-green. In our gardens, Baptisia 'Screamin' Yellow' makes a 3' tall x 5' wide deer-resistant clump, topped in late April/early May with stunning 11" spikes of bright yellow flowers. For a drought-tolerant perennial and a great spring show, it don't get no better than this. - See more at: http://www.plantdelights.com/Baptisiasphaerocarpa-Screamin-Yellow-for-sale/Buy-ScreaminIndigo#sthash.H3jc3aUq.dpuf

Non-stop bloom from July until frost. Huge, semi-double, 3 to 5 inch golden-yellow flowers are immensely showy and long-lasting, produced in profusion on strong-stemmed, clump-forming, 30 to 36 inch plants. Drought tolerant and easy to grow in any well-drained soil.
HEUCHERA “BERRY TIMELESS”
PPAF)-Blooms continuously for months. Low, 6 inch mounds of minty green foliage with a silvery overlay send up numerous 18 to 20 inch spikes bearing light pink flowers. The blooms age to lovely, deep rose and dry in place on the stem creating a gorgeous long-lasting display.
HEUCHERA “AMETHYST MYST”
Silvery-coated leaves have a metallic sheen. The amethyst-purple foliage is overlaid with silvery-blue, the undersides rich royal purple. Pinkish-white flower sprays top 22 to 26 inch purplish stems. Forms impressive clumps. One of our favorites!
HEUCHERA “GEORGIA PEACH
(P.P.19375) Exceptional tolerance to heat and humidity. In spring the huge, 8 inch leaves are peach-orange with a silvery overlay. Foliage intensifies to rose-purple with a frosted veil by fall. Bears dainty cream flowers in early summer on 30 inch spikes.
KNIPHOFIA “PAPAYA POPSICLE
A poker with a twist! 'Papaya Popsicle' is an all-summer bloomer which has a very short compact habit. A prolific bloomer with spikes of flowers the color of ripe papayas. Charming, grass-like foliage looks neat all summer! Great for small gardens or in a container. Loved by hummingbirds!
KNIPHOFIA “ORANGE VANILLA POPSICLE”
A two-toned beauty topped with flower spikes of red orange over the creamy white on the bottom. 'Orange Vanilla Popsicle' has the reblooming, short, grassy leaves and compact habit of the others in the series. Hummingbirds love this plant!
KNIPHOFIA “FIRE GLOW”
'Fire Glow' sets the garden aflame! Enjoy an enormous flower display each year from August to frost. This lovely dwarf Kniphofia has large bicolor orange and red flower spikes. Hummingbird heaven!
KNIPHOFIA “LEMON POPSICLE”
Sweet, lemon-yellow spikes cover this fantastic poker. Dwarf habit with great grassy foliage. Blooms and blooms on short flower spikes. Easy to grow in full sun. Earliest poker to bloom for us. Easy to grow in full sun. Loved by hummingbirds!
SEDUM “BIRTHDAY PARTY”
Bred for a compact habit that doesn't open up and large flower heads, this outstanding Sedum from our PARTY HARDY™ Series will dazzle you in late summer or fall with its huge, deep rose pink flower heads. The purple brown tinted leaves provide color before the blooms. 11”
SEDUM “CHOCOLATE DROP”
Upright mounds of lightly scalloped, glossy dark chocolatebrown leaves make a great addition to the border or the rockgarden. Soft rose-colored flowers top and accent the foliage. Mix with golds and bronzes for an unforgettable effect. So round and chocolatey, you'll want to "kiss" them! 10”
SEDUM “MR. GOODBUD”
This dusky S. spectabile hybrid has tight foliage and strongly contrasting colors between its light buds and dark mauve flowers. Richer tones and better foliage than S. 'Brilliant'. Upright habit and short stature. Won an Award of Garden Merit from the RHS in 2006. 17”
SEDUM “THUNDERHEAD”
Huge, deep rose flower heads that look like Oregon's summer thunderhead clouds. Very stout, upright stems are a mid-border marvel. Handsome, grey-green foliage is the perfect foil for the dramatic long lasting flowers. One of the most majestic Sedums TERRA NOVA® has introduced.
CATMINT “SIX HILLS GIANT”
Type: Perennials Height: Medium to Tall 3' (Plant 24" apart) Bloom Time: Early Summer to Late Summer Sun-Shade: Full Sun to Mostly Sunny Zones: 3-8 Soil Condition: Normal, Sandy Flower / Accent: Purple / Purple
CATMINT ‘WALKERS LOW”
Type: Perennials Height: Medium 30" (Plant 3' apart) Bloom Time: Early Summer to Late Summer Sun-Shade: Full Sun to Mostly Sunny Zones: 3-8 Soil Condition: Normal, Sandy Flower / Accent: Blue / Blue
SWITCHGRASS “SHENANDOAH” The brightest red Panicum by a long shot. Experienced horticulturalists have mistaken it for Imperata at first glance. It colors up by June and the flowers are also red. The shortest of the group and also the slowest grower, perhaps due in part to its lack of chlorophyll. This will probably be the most popular Switchgrass ever! Introduced by Dr. Hans Simon of Germany. Nothing comes close to the fall color displayed by this grass! 3”
FEATHER REED GRASS “KARL FORESTER”
One of the most popular garden grasses in the world, 'Karl Foerster' is known for its ease of culture, tidy vertical habit and beautiful feathery blooms. In mid summer flowers open a creamy white tinged with pink. As they age they become narrow plumes of golden straw and last well into winter. 6”
SWITCHGRASS “NORTHWIND”
Wow! An unequivocally upright steel blue panicum selected by Roy Diblik of Northwind Perennial Farm in Springfield, WI. It was the only one of our 13 trial varieties still standing after Hurricane Floyd! And the drought of '99? No problem. Wide, thick leaf blades are a bit more substantial than those of the other blues. A golden yellow color in the fall. 5”
GIANT REED GRASS “PEPPERMINT STICK” This wonderful deer-resistant grass, native to Mediterranean freshwater wetlands, has long been a favorite of gardeners. The only drawback was the fading of the leaf variegation in warm weather. Arundo 'Peppermint Stick', imported from the Shanghai Botanic Garden by plantsman Greg Speichert, solves that with striped leaves just as vivid in summer as in spring. Arundo 'Peppermint Stick' forms sturdy 12' tall canes, adorned with wide green and white striped leaves. In fall, the clumps are topped with 18" tall bronze-colored plumes. Arundo may get too large for small gardens, but it is NOT an invasive plant (displacing natives in functioning ecosystems) as I read in some eco-Nazi literature. 12”
SWITCHGRASS “DALLAS BLUES” Named after the Cowboys who were defeated by the Redskins on national TV...just kidding, this Ken and Linda Smith selection of our native switchgrass is among the most stunning forms ever selected. Originally found in Dallas, Texas, it has grown equally well in the cold Midwest. Panicum 'Dallas Blues' makes an upright deerresistant clump of pendent, powder-blue foliage to 5' tall, topped in early fall with stunning plumes of reddish purple. The flower heads are unlike any other panicum, as the flowers appear in distinct layers. Even without the foliage, these plumes are just waiting to become a flower arrangement. We predict certain stardom for this grass! 5”
BIG BLUESTEM “RED OCTOBER”
Deep green foliage emerges in spring with notable red tips, providing an immediate display of color and texture. The real show begins around the first frost of October - the chill sends the graceful foliage into a flurry of vivid red, becoming topped with tall, scarlet red inflorescences swaying in the autumn breeze. Striking! 6”
LITTLE BLUESTEM “BLUE PARADISE
(PPAF) Deep wine-purple fall color is absolutely gorgeous. Watch with delight as this grass slowly morphs from an attractive silvery-blue in summer to deep wine-purple tones in the fall. The top half of the foliage holds tiny tan seedheads late in the season. Maintains its upright columnar form through the fall and into winter. Grows 3 to 3 1/2 feet tall with a 2 foot spread. A native cultivar perfect for hot, dry locations.
VERBASCUM “CLEMENTINE
A visual stunner. Tall, branched spikes carry florets that transition from near orange to peach-apricot, each accented with fuzzy, violet-blue filaments at their centers. The deer-resistant plants grow 4 to 5 feet tall flowering over a long period in July and August. Felt-like foliage forms a basal rosette.

The cloud-like masses of terminally-produced single, white, narrowpetaled flowers adorn the plant in late spring and are repeated again in midsummer. While Clematis recta 'Lime Close' isn't a vine, it does best with support nearby to help it stand upright with the weight of the flowers. Clematis recta dies to the ground in winter and flowers both on old and new growth. 6 feet tall
