To become a Master Gardener you will complete a 14 week set of classes taught by Horticulture Agents or U.K. specialists. You will then complete a 30 hour volunteer in-service in Extension within one year of course completion. Upon completion you will be a certified Kentucky Master Gardener! We will meet each Thursday morning at the Washington County Cooperative Extension Office from 9:00 AM until Noon beginning September 8th. All are welcome!!! The cost is $50.00 and covers the book (which you keep) and all supplies. There will be one full day trip to Lexington and the date will be determined.
