Dropshipping feature within Shopee

Dropship allows the user receives an order while the user can use Shopee to source and supply the product to be sold without holding their inventory.

Shopee has simplified their dropshipping feature and provided the basic flow, however we can streamline the product to focus and cater to these individuals/group.

PAIN POINTS

Lack of quick access to "your Dropship items"

The feature "Dropshipping" are not known mostly by the general public and only mentioned during checkout. If known, helps bring potential market for entrepreneurs and SME whom depend on Dropshipping.

Users would have to manually swipe back and forth to fulfill the order of their dropship. Rather than saving/bookmark the supplying items , why not dedicate a page/shortcut?

Organizing and maintaining relations with supplier via shopee

Streamline the relation with the original supplier via shopee with the individual dropshipper?

Provide quick communications and statuses of the dropshio items.

To establish a page dedicated for dropshipping and its users. This includes:

Create a shortcut for your historical dropship items. Dedicated features to streamline your dropship items and contacts

Increasing the exposure and traffic for the dropship feature within Shopee would bring potential market for entrepreneurs and SME whom depend on Dropshipping. this would also encourage them as their "Go-to-site" for their dropshipping business.

To capture a bigger market share within indonesia's Dropshipping platform of choice

As Product: To gain more traction and encourage users more dropshipping within the shopee platform

As Customer: To streamline the workflow of the current dropshipping technique

Project Scope:

To add shortcut button accessing your items you had dropshipped or bookmarked for dropshipping via supplier in shopee.

Able to manage, search the items planning/had used to dropship before.

To add a shortcut button to view the supplier's items before you accept orders when dropshipping

To link your "My products" directly/faster to the supplier's item page.

Strengths:

Straightforward "Core" concept and flow of current dropshipping exists within shopee shopee already utilised/introduced "wholesales"

Added a shortcut of a URL link where the it helps redirect to the supplier's item in shopee.

Your items that have received orders have a quick button to check to the supplier's page you had linked when creating/adding the item.

Add shortcut button to view, manage, search and maintain relations with the supplier's items you had dropshipped before.

A dedicated shortcut and flow for Vendors to bookmark items they had purchased as dropship.

Able to manage, sort, search, chat, order and remove the items supplied from other vendors.

MANAGING AND ORDERING:

User had purchased the item with "Sent as dropship" selected, thus automatically added into the list and acts as quick bookmark to the Item sold by the supplier. Remove the item from the list by simply clicking the top right of the item card. Instant Chat to the supplier/vendor of the items to confirm stock,maintain relationship and communication. Check their stock/Qty, availability, price changes to see if eligible to re-order again as a dropship.

Linking to listed item

Added a new Link field for vendors to add dropshipping shopee links/URL

Once linked, Vendors/users can see their items if available from their supplier.

To streamline and refine user-friendliness of the current app, with the ability to onboard non smartphone users.

Single - aged 20 (age group 19 - 28)

Travels to Bali often for business and leisure.

Often goes out to eat and entertainment ever since the lockdown loosened.

Updates regularly regarding vaccines or other pandemic news related.

THE HARDIYANTO FAMILY

Couple - mid 30s (age group 29 - 38)

Has kids and having trouble to travel as a family during yearly vacation, especially paper works during travel.

Parents would like to plan and manage things ahead

PROBLEM 1:

The app does not notify effectively about user's upcoming vaccines, certificates / Tickets.

Notifies users regarding upcoming vaccines they have taken.

Concept Ideation

To introduce a pinned button/banner regarding your vaccine. Rather than Push Notifications, some users could set their push notifications hidden, therefore a simple banner in the app would remind users.

Testing methods:

Check if users successfully clicked and added a new vaccine certificate. Can be gathered by the success rate of CTA percentage

A simple pop-up feedback with a Yes/No answer to determine if the were aware about the notifier.

An eye tracking test along with heatmap to see if the users successfully notified about this feature.

A simple survey Free text box for feedbacks about their reasoning they are not aware about the notifier.

A follow-up interview to gather their problems / feedbacks

Guardians struggles and prefers to add and save dependant's Information (children and/or elderly).

Testing methods:

Ensure the number of double inputs have been reduced. This can be done via interactive usability testing live usability testing to ensure if the flow is expected.

Reduce double inputs by having intergrated profile and dependant's data.

Adjusted minor ergonomic and User interface for clarity.

Ideation when checking user's egibility to travel

We can streamline traveling experience by integrating eHac,Vaccine Certificates and the Covid Test into one directional user flow. By showing the "Check air travel eligibility" as a starting place users can learn about new regulations and view missing requirements before traveling.

A 5 second test to compare both previous and revamped design

Confirm user's actions when testing via heatmap with the help of A/B testing

check if users click their first step for the traveling experience with eye tracker testing and heatmap

Check if users successfully complete their eHAC and Certificate flow via CTA success rate.

Ensure users have a faster testing time with these minor improvements by usability testing.
