How To Prevent Your Child's Pain In His/Her Wobbly Tooth
Most kids start to lose their baby teeth around the
age of six. If your kid gets hurt on the playground and his/her mouth is bleeding, then rinse out their mouth
with salt water and if the bleeding persists call the dentist.
Sometimes losing a tooth can traumatize the child and
affect his/her attitude toward dental health. Therefore, it is better to take a different perspective to tackle the
situation and simultaneously educate them about the benefits of dental hygiene.
Give your kids a soft food to eat so that your child might not worry about swallowing their tooth in
their sleep, or while they eat. Use a cold compress to give relief to the swelling and the pain of your kid. These compress should be placed outside the mouth to avoid frostbite or freezer burn.
To make a homemade cold compress, wrap ice cubes
in terrycloth. You should always ask the dentist for some safe anti-inflammatory medication. But if the tooth takes a long time to fall take your kid to the dentist.
Help your child to wiggle the tooth with tongue or finger. Tell them only to loosen the teeth while brushing. You can consult the dentist in Maroubra for any help regarding your kids' teeth.
