A lifetime of savings

The Daikin Group has extensive experience in designing and manufacturing air handling units which provide air within buildings with a precise balance of temperature, cleanliness and humidity.

This optimises the health and performance of people working in a building.

Investment and installation are minor factors in the overall cost of an air handling unit. The Compact series are designed to minimise energy costs over their entire service lives. Features such as Constant Air Flow (CAV) or Pressure control (VAV), economymode, night time operation and time scheduling all deliver considerable overall savings. Savings which ensure a rapid payback of the investment.

The new Compact series are wired at the factory and are also pre-commissioned, with the unit’s software tuned and the set points already established. On site, all that is required is to plug the unit into the power supply, connect any pipes and wires, and switch the unit on.

Heat recovery solutions The Compact series come in pre-defined sizes and are available as indoor or outdoor versions.

This means that modular systems can be designed and installed for several applications. And with an operating range of -25°C (-40°C with electric heaters) to +43°C, they are suitable for any European climate.

They are not only modular and compact, the new series are extremely efficient and environmentally friendly too. They are Eurovent certified, featuring an IE4 premium efficiency motor and a high efficiency heat wheel.

Daikin is participating in the Eurovent Certification Programme for Air Handling Units. Daikin Air handling units are certified under the number 11.05.003.

Flexible, friendly and economical Unrivalled compatibility Like all Daikin air handling units, the Compact series are compatible with all common heating and cooling equipment. They are extremely user-friendly thanks to their full compatibility with ITM and all other Daikin equipment. In combination with Daikin chillers, ERQ and VRV systems, they offer a unique package assuring excellent heat recovery and indoor air quality, as well as high quality and reliability.

D-AHU Compact High-end solution with heat recovery Intelligent design which delivers high efficiency At Daikin, we examine every aspect of our products’ design to ensure that they are as efficient and economical as possible, and the Compact series are no exception. Naturally, they have very wellinsulated housings and high-performance heat recovery controls and components. In addition, smooth internal surfaces and a special noise reduction laminar straightener (NRLS), make the Compact series incredibly quiet in operation.
