Our stories this month is about doing the right thing and how the timing is always right. Ruby Jones talked to five local pastors who shared how they are doing what is right to help heal the masses while seeking personal healing within themselves. The timing was right for the UpNext Program to provide more than 150 high school students the opportunity to see and hear Michelle Obama recent sold-out speaking event, “Becoming: An Intimate Conversation with Michelle Obama.” Melovy Melvin tells how former Denver Mayor Wellington E. Webb and former First Lady Wilma J. Webb, and Friends of the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library recently honored Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups because he has put in the time to doing what is right.
