PRESENT PERFECT – Have / Has + Past Participle Use: to talk about past action that still hasTENSES? influence in the present. WHEN DO WEaUSE CONTINUOUS Example: John has lost his key and can’t enter home

When we want to insist on the duration of the action. PAST PERFECT – Had + Past Participle Example: I have been waiting for ages!!! Use: to talk about a completed action that took action before another action in the past.
