Not as much as you think when you take a couple of important aspects into consideration when sculpting. This includes defining the nail tone and, if necessary, extending the nail bed with a template. Make-up gel adapted to the nail bed tone is the latest trend that makes every nail sculpting truly unique.

‘Not every customer has a perfect nail bed, as it’s often too short or blemished. Some customers also have poor circulation on the nail beds, which often prevents the French look from radiating its full effect. Camouflage gels were created precisely to conceal such deficiencies. They can be chosen according to the nail bed tone and camouflage all types of irregularities on the nail plate. Even an excessively short nail bed can be optically extended using the technique described below. Your customers will love this technique, especially since the flowing strokes of the camouflage colour make the outgrown base of the nail practically invisible.’
