This degree is one of the few programmes in the UK where you will not only graduate with a BA (Hons) degree, but also a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership. 85% of students studying this course go on to work or further study within six months of graduating.

Finance and Business Performance Managing Performance in Operations

This course is assessed through coursework and practical examinations. You won't have to submit extra coursework to get the CMI qualification either, as we have combined module and CMI assessments together. This extra qualification will really stand out on your CV when you're ready to look for your first graduate job. You can also take an optional placement year, which will really enhance your employability prospects. The excellent grounding in business this degree gives you means you'll be ready for a career in any business area, from HR to marketing or operations. You could be an operations manager, HR advisor, business development manager, sales executive, marketing officer or a business analyst. Past students now work for a wide range of companies from Barclays and Shell, down to small businesses, or family owned businesses. Some students have gone on to set up their own company on graduation.

This degree gives you a wide ranging introduction to all aspects of business. This experience and practical application of your knowledge is what sets this degree apart from others, and is what fully prepares you for a successful management career. The degree has been designed in close consultation with employers and professional bodies, so we are teaching you what industry requires in its business graduates, and so increasing your employability.
