You can study this course as either a major, joint or minor subject, which will determine how many modules you will choose at each stage. Additional information A joint honours degree is the perfect choice for you if you want to study more than one subject. You can give yourself an obvious career path by combining this with one or two other subjects such as Psychology or Theatre Studies for example, or you could even create a less familiar combination according to personal interests.

Your career You could work in community dance practice; become an artist; work within arts organisations; take further training to teach in primary or secondary education, or in private dance schools; or work with people generally. Some graduates are now working as community dance artists, arts administrators; running their own dance organisations or undertaking further training. You could also study at masters level, for example our MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy, or choose to develop the second subject in your joint honours degree, giving you a range of career choices.
