About the course This course is unique in Events Management because not only do you study in a real events venue; you will get to run the events too. We are the only university in the UK to have won the Excellence in Training Category of the National Outdoor Events Association Awards, you know you will get a great start to your career.

How you’ll learn You will be taught by experienced event practitioners, who have worked in all sectors of the industry from conferences to festivals. You will also be able to use your skills to organise your own professional events with our own company - Dome Events, gaining the professional experience that employers want.

Your career The Events industry is rapidly expanding and there is a wide range of opportunities within commercial, outdoor, public sector and not-for-profit organisations. You will develop the knowledge and skills you'll need to apply for roles in events companies and other multinational companies.

This course has encouraged me to develop my enthusiasm for events and has helped me to nurture the skills that I require to host a successful event... I'm getting involved with organising events as much as possible. If you're doing Events Management, make sure you volunteer for all of the opportunities that arise to organise events. Ben Whittaker
