This is a great opportunity for our film students to hear from someone who has seen the film industry from many angles and the changes it’s gone through. Professor Jason Lee speaking about Terry Bamber’s visit
In addition, you can specialise in either Film Studies or Film and Television Studies from your second year, depending on what you have enjoyed studying and find most interesting. Teaching and learning In your first year you will normally have up to 12 hours of teaching per week. You will take 6 modules across the year. There will be formal lectures and some group work as well as seminars. In each module there are tutorials, in which you’ll be preparing for assignments. We will also be screening material and discussing it in the class.

Throughout the course we invite industry speakers to talk to you about their experience of the industry. A recent example is Terry Bamber, one of the team behind James Bond’s last five film outings.
