Why choose this course? ▪ This course can be combined with Culinary Arts or Events Management, which means that you will study two subject areas, giving you a great range of knowledge and skills for your future career. ▪ We have our own fine dining restaurant, which is run by our students, so you will get hands on experience right from the start.
About the course You will acquire operational knowledge and skills and will be provided with the opportunity to apply theory into practice, while developing further in depth knowledge and understanding in particular areas. Throughout the programme you will develop transferable skills through a variety of real world learning activities and module assessments.
How you’ll learn You will be taught using demonstrations, lectures and tutorials and get hands on practical experience with our commercial facilities, through formal lectures, practical demonstrations, seminars, small group exercises, case study discussions, videos, guest speakers and professional visits. You may have the opportunity to go on a UK based residential trip and professional visits such as trips to Normandy and Calvados. You will find it fascinating applying classroom activity and learning in the real world.
