About the course This course could be perfect for you if you want to develop your knowledge and skills in sports massage, sport injuries, health and sport rehabilitation.
Duration and mode of study: Full time: three years, Part time: four - six years
You will have lectures and workshops by experts in sport therapy and physiotherapy. You will also have VTCT training in sports massage therapy and can automatically become a member of the Sports Massage Association.

Why choose this course? ▪ This programme can be combined with Sport Psychology, Sports Coaching, or Sport Development, which means that you will study two subject areas, giving you a great range of knowledge and skills for your future career. ▪ You will have the chance to do handson clinical work throughout the course which will give you the skills and confidence you need to start off in your chosen career.
You will be taught by our experienced tutors who work in the field of sports massage. Some lecturers have worked with or currently do consulting work with Olympic, World, European, and Commonwealth Champions in cycling, martial arts, golf, athletics and motor racing. You will learn through a combination of lectures, practical sessions, clinics, seminars and by studying on your own with the help of your tutor.
Your career You will be able to look at careers in the exercise and fitness industry or in therapeutic work with sports clubs.
