Additional information

This course is academically challenging and vocationally orientated, and will provide you with a range of knowledge, experience and skills.

You'll develop the knowledge, experience and skills you'll need to move on to one of these degrees:

You'll be introduced to concepts in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering, product design, or architectural technology. You'll also learn how to write reports, essays and provide presentations of a reasonable standard on a subject within your chosen field.

How you’ll learn You'll have workshops and practical sessions, so you'll be able to use specialist equipment and software. There are several different ways we test your understanding and competence. These include lab work, written report writing, presentations, case studies, computer based exercises and exams.

Your career When you've successfully completed this course, you can go on to the appropriate bachelors degree.

Why choose this course? If you don't have the appropriate qualifications to get straight on to a bachelors degree in a technology subject, you can do this preparatory course for a year first.
