You will explore this exciting and rapidly evolving area and its application in the film, television and computer games industries. Teaching and learning A wide variety of teaching and learning methods are used, including lectures, seminars, collaborative work, tutorials, practical workshops, screenings, peer group critiques and discussion as well as negotiated and independent study.

This course provides you with the opportunity to explore the potential of Visual Effects and Post-Production. It will enable you to become a resourceful and independent learner capable of generating ideas and developing original, effective visual solutions. You will study at Markeaton Street which is equipped with studios, Mac suites and the latest technology as well as Derby Theatre – our live performance venue in the heart of the city.
