The Importance of Disconnecting to Reconnecting

In this modern era, we no longer need to wait to find the answers we crave or the social connections we desire. We simply go to the internet, YouTube, ask Alexa or other social media sites to find our answer. You have the option to be connected at any time, but is it really necessary?

What is lost when we are plugged in? • You barely have any time left to learn, to create, and to live our lives. • You can become sleep deprived and disconnected with reality. • You are neglecting your personal relationships, work, hobbies, chores and who knows what else.

Mindless use of technology will ruin our real skills of imagination and connection with our fellow humans. It can take you and your children away from the real world.

When you disconnect, what you may feel, see or notice: • You may see things differently and seem more concentrated and involved in family, friends and life around you. • It helps your brain relax more, you’ll laugh more, and you won’t have that feeling that you’re missing out on anything. • You’ll see the value in your reality and in your everyday achievements.

OVERALL, what I personally noticed… my mind and thoughts are clearer, my head isn’t fogged up and I’ve remembered things better. I’m more focused than I have been in a long time, and can you believe…I feel more ALIVE and back to being Stacie! I didn’t get caught up in other people’s issues, feel more accomplished because I got a crap load of things done and even refreshing my routines. When are you going to disconnect to reconnect? Until then…. you can’t lead a positive life being plugged in to social media, other people’s business, TV, and technology.

You can’t lead a positive life with a negative mind.
