Thunder fun nIghT! 6TH ANNuAL

Ifyou have not attended a Thunder Fun Night yet…well, you will want to make sure you sign up next year. I typically host the night of fun in January, February, or occasionally March. Why in the middle of winter? First, I don’t want to compete with any advertiser event, and in the winter, there are not usually any events except for swap meets going on. Since Thunder Roads is supported by advertisers, they come first and I want to make sure I am not stepping on any toes. Also, because we bikers get a little stir-crazy in the wintertime and this event gives us something fun and safe to do and an opportunity to meet up with friends we haven’t seen since we were able to ride. We can also make new friends that share our passion. It’s funny to watch friendships form from this event. I have introduced friends to many other friends and now they are all friends with that friend—try to say that five times fast! I will warn those that have not attended this event that it is not for the faint of heart. We dance, sing, and party like rock stars and just have some good ol’ drama-free fun! Some people attend the event in a four-person group, some solo, but no one is ever left out and a good time is always had by all. People can check in early and get the party started or enjoy the hotel amenities, and then we meet in the lobby and grab dinner (very important to put food in the bellies of these wild animals). The party bus picks us up from the hotel and away we go. Throughout the night, we raffle off prizes at each stop. I would like to thank the following sponsors for their contributions to Thunder Fun Night 2019: Thank you to the Bay Valley Resort for accommodations, Midnight Madness Party Bus, Ned Seeburger
