Together with teachers and educational experts we design and create educational materials. Our products are made to support the goals of teachers and stimulate the development of knowledge and skills of our children. This year our focus is on creating affordable educational materials. For example our line of educational games made of cardboard and new plastic puzzles. We also think that it is important to stay up-to-date and deliver innovative products. For the production of our wooden puzzles we use the latest technology, which results in beautifully printed coloured images. Thanks to the close cooperation with our partners, we can offer you a diverse range of products. Our partner Roylco from Canada presents a lot of new creative materials for hours of fun. For the first time we introduce to you the eco-friendly materials from our partner PlanToys. Scientific research has shown that the development of a young child’s brain improves in a rich playing and learning environment. Genes provide a blueprint for the brain, but a child’s environment and experiences carry out the construction. Neuroscientists know that the brain contains some 100 billion neurons and that the neurons are joined together via an estimated quadrillion connections. It’s through those links that de brain does the remarkable work of learning and storing memory. By the age of 3, a baby’s brain has reached almost 90 percent of its adult size. The growth in each region of the brain largely depends on receiving stimulation, which spurs activity in that region. This stimulation provides the foundation for learning. Everything a child learns and experiences at a young age is transformed in the child’s brain into connections between brain cells. These connections are decisive for the functions the brain can perform later.

Puzzle ‘Know what you are eating’ The ‘Know what you are eating’ puzzle teaches children about healthy food, what you should eat on a daily basis and in which ratio. The pyramid-shaped puzzle is divided into seven rows. The largest part of the puzzle (the bottom row) is about exercise, this is the most important. The top row consists of sweets. These are not necessary for a balanced diet and therefore have the smallest section. In between are other groups of foodstuffs that provide very important building materials for a healthy body. By using this material actively, children will begin to understand the importance of healthy food and learn its various uses. The puzzle can be used individually or in a group. It forms an excellent combination together with Chef & Co.

Farmers love ladybirds for their appetite because they eat plant-eating insects and in doing so they help to protect crops. Ladybirds lay hundreds of eggs and when they hatch, the ladybug larvae immediately begin to feed. Their distinctive spots and attractive colours are meant to make them unappealing for predators. Frog
Frogs lay their eggs in water. The eggs hatch into aquatic larvae, called tadpoles, that have tails and internal gills. The life cycle is completed when they metamorphose into adults. Frogs produce a wide range of vocalizations, particularly in their breeding season.

‘Life cycle puzzle’ 4-layers Butterfly
Peacock butterflies lay their eggs on the underside of stinging nettle leaves. For the caterpillars that later come out of these eggs, the nettle is the most important food. When the caterpillars are bigger, they will cocoon. After the caterpillar has turned into a butterfly, it will come out of the cocoon. Then its wings first need to uncrease and dry up, but after that it is ready for its first flight. Turtle
Sea turtles live in the sea but they come ashore to lay eggs. The female crawls onto the beach at night and digs a hole in which she lays her eggs. She covers them up with sand and then goes back into the sea. After two months, the eggs hatch and the young climb out of the sand on their own and go into the sea. With both growth puzzles, the number of pieces per layer is different. The layers can therefore be distinguished by the size of the pieces.

Building set With Building set a situation has to be created on the basis of verbal instructions. There are a number of different ways in which to play this: 1) A player takes the board and puts up the partition. The second player takes a task card and tells the first player what he or she has to build. With Constructor, all children need to do is mix in a little of their fantasy and imagination and the results are cars, houses, trucks, chairs, cupboards, trains, helicopters... Constructor comes in a variety of sizes of beams and planks, with a thickness of 12 mm. Blocks are used to create sturdy corner connections. Everything is soundly secured with screws and bolts.

Three excellent pieces of furniture for children which allow practising gross motor skills and discoveries of all kinds. The elements can be used separately but can also be combined. Each piece is easily reversible and can therefore be used in two ways. This keeps playing and learning moments varied and challenging. 1. Discovery garden The discovery garden challenges children to discover their boundaries. In the tunnel position the discovery garden invites the child to crawl underneath, climb on, and clamber through. When the garden is turned around it invites the child to pull up to a sitting and standing position, to walk with safe support on both sides and to climb over the sides. Moreover in tunnel position the discovery garden provides children with a safe sheltered place from which they can observe the rest of the surroundings from behind the coloured window. This is fun for the kids to do. 2. Discovery step Kids are challenged to crawl, walk, run and jump on and off. Moreover balance is practised by balancing the bar and crawling/walking on the slope. The waved slope is slightly steeper than the slope with the hole in it; with this latter one, however, the children first need to climb the little step. 3. Crawling balance A combination of a soft pillow and wood helps the child practise balance. On the pillow side as well as on the wooden side. On the pillow side, their hands and feet will sink into the pillow, whereas on the wooden side, the disc will tilt a little. If a second child steps onto the wooden side, the angle changes and the children will need to correct their own weight distribution in order to remain sitting or standing.
