WelCoMe... On behalf of Derry City and Strabane District Council it gives me great pleasure to announce our Culture Night programme, which will take place on Friday 18th September 2015. Culture Night has become one of the highlights of our events calendar. It is the evening each year when arts and cultural organisations throughout Ireland open their doors to the public with special or extended night time events, all offered free of charge. This year, Derry and Strabane will join over 20 participating locations and over 350,000 visitors enjoying this special programme of events. Our new Council district is well known for its rich arts and cultural offering and Culture Night provides the perfect opportunity to sample just a taster of what we have to offer. This year’s programme is packed full of dance, music, song, film, art, digital events and a series of talks and tours in some of our most historic cultural buildings. I hope that you get the chance to enjoy as much of the programme as possible and look forward to seeing you on the night. Mayor Councillor Elisha McCallion
