Social Activities at IH Manchester ih Manchester At the school we organise many activities and excursions for our adult students all year long. This means that you can quickly and easily make friends, discover all the fantastic things that Manchester has to offer and be able to continue to practise your English outside of the classroom. We know that everybody doesn’t always like to do the same things, so we always offer a choice of activities when we can. Below is a typical week’s schedule so you can see how much fun you can have as your spoken English fluency skills improve and your vocabulary gets bigger ! All events, excursions and activities are led by one of our teachers – so it’s English only whilst the lesson continues! You can choose if you want to participate or not and only pay for your own costs eg. Train ticket and lunch on a full day excursion. NB – Junior Students (under 18 years of age) have separate activities which are closely supervised by our staff. Please see Junior Courses for details.
