The event has been the dream of Cemetery Director Kathleen Jurasky for years as a way of helping promote education, cultural awareness, understanding, and community building and is in its second year. Last year the event brought out more than 2500 people and is once again expected to see thousands there. Proceeds from the event will help support the hot meals program of the Well in the Desert, a 501c3 charitable organization.
