New art gallery concept developed by art collectors for collectors
J
ack McLaine, the owner of REVU Fine Art, first developed the idea for this business concept seven years ago. Jack overheard a collector telling someone that they wished to purchase a paint ing that they had found, but, they had no more room in their home, or in their budget, without selling something that they currently had. The gallery owner explained to Jack and his wife Lisa that this was a common issue with avid collectors. And, there was not a truly viable marketplace for these collectors to sell their art and receive a fair percentage of its true value. This became the seed for developing the REVU Fine Art Secondary Art Market business. REVU Fine Art is structured with a minimalist style that is reflected in its
loft-like, bright, airy and elegant gallery setting. Contemporary sculp tures, paintings, and photography are on display by renowned artists from all over the world including works of Dale Chiluly, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Alan Houser, John Kennedy, David McGary, David Pearson, John Kuhn, Noel Hart, Richard Royal, Wyland and Leonardo Nierman. Recently, REVU Fine Art was selected to represent artists who have participated in the prestigious Palm Desert Invitational Sculpture Exhibi tion, an international exhibition pre sented every two years by the City of Palm Desert. The sculptures have been on display on El Paseo from Nov., 2012 through October, 2014. They are now available for purchase at REVU Fine Art.
