Well, In The Desert Gala

Well in the Desert held its Broadway Under The Stars event at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort on April 23rd. The event benefited Well in the Desert; the evening started with a cocktail hour where Denise Motto provided music and songs. Matt Naylor spoke to the guests about the programs of Well in the Desert. He said they provided 70,000 meals a year to people experiencing homelessness. Naylor spoke about the other programs Well in the Desert offers. He said Founder Arlene Rosenthal could not attend because she was hospitalized.

Naylor asked the guests to pray for her quick recovery.

The event honored Jeannie Cunningham. She is a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, producer, and author. She has worked with famous music artists and has made 7 CDs. You may know her as JaeCie. She spoke about how so many deserving people do fantastic work for charities. She mentioned many names associated with charities that work with animal rights, save the planet, mentorship, and Homelessness. She mentioned Arlene Rosenthal and Matt Naylor, who has accomplished so much in our Valley to help the homeless. She was given a painting and said she was thankful to be honored to be
