20 February 2020 HCI Yarralumla:An interactive session to gain an insight into the Union Budget 2020-21 was hosted by the High Commission of India (HCI), Canberra. Deputy High Commissioner Mr. P.S. Karthigeyan spoke about initiatives announced in the Union Budget 2020-21. This was followed by a discussion with those present.

28 February 2020 Commonwealth Bank, Forrest: The High Commission of India, Canberra, in association with AIBC – ACT Chapter, hosted a panel discussion and an interactive session about the Union Budget 2020-21 for the local business community. The speakers at the event were economists from the Australian National University Prof. Kaliappa Kaliranjan and Prof Raghabendra Jha who were joined by Deputy

High Commissioner Mr P. S. Karthigeyan in sharing their analysis of the Budget focusing on the salient features of the budget and emphasising the importance of engaging with India. The event was attended by over 70 people and allowed an opportunity for the guests to engage in a Question and Answer session to better understand the budget.
