In the center of Barcelona, near Las Ramblas, a historic, mixed and cosmopolitan neighbourhood. It became a fashionable area because of its varied range of bars and modern restaurants, the presence of the MACBA and its proximity to the famous Parallel Avenue, where you can find the most prestigious theaters in Barcelona.

Characteristic for its narrow streets, artisans and chocolate, its origins date back to Roman Spain. This is one of the oldest areas from which you can quickly access any place of interest in Barcelona: Las Ramblas, Port Vell and Plaça Reial.

La Barceloneta

This neighbourhood of fishers is one of the most emblematic ones in Barcelona. Located at the beach and with a great nightlife, it is composed of small buildings with narrow staircases keeping the charm of its old buildings.

El Poblenou

In the center of this area is the Rambla del Poblenou, where you will find several terraces to sit back and enjoy this area of the city. Poblenou is one of the safest areas in the city, surrounded by thee Villa Olimpica & Diagonal Mar neighbourhoods. The area is very commercial and has several supermarkets, shops, stores, leisure centers, restaurants and the beach is only 5 minutes by foot.

L’Eixample

L’Eixample occupies the space between the Old Town and the former villages of Sants, Gracia and Sant Andreu. Its urban form is characterized by its perpendicular streets which divide the neighbourhood in. It is basically divided into two areas: Eixample Dret & Eixample Esquerre, right and left, where we find the main modernist buildings like the Casa Batllo, La Pedrera and La Sagrada Familia.

This bohemian district is 2 minutes walking from the Santa Caterina Market, the Cathedral and the Palau de la Musica. You can also walk to the church of Santa Maria del Mar, the Gothic Quarter and the famous Ramblas. This neighbourhood is characterized by its narrow streets, small squares and charming corners.

The ancient village Gracia is now a very popular area due to its nightlife. It hosts a large number of small boutiques and a variety of bars and restaurants. Many students live there and there is a community of artists, actors, musicians, photographers and designers who contribute to the bohemian atmosphere characteristic of this place.

Diagonal Mar & the Fórum

Diagonal Mar is a large urban development project located where Avenue Diagonal Barcelona meets the sea. This ambitious project includes residential buildings, shopping centers, hotels, offices and a public park. There is the Park Forum, which hosts major events every year.

Plaza España

The Plaza España of Barcelona is one of the most important squares in the Catalan capital. It was built for the International Exposition of 1929. It houses the Fira de Barcelona (main exhibitions and conferences venue) and the famous Magic Fountain of Montjuic.

Les Corts

This area was a former village that was annexed to Barcelona. It currently contains the stadium of FC Barcelona’s famous Nou Camp. In addition, this area is characterized by being a residential area and having a wide commercial offer.

Camp Nou Experience

utbol Club Barcelona has as of today the title of best team in the world, which has earned it many fans worldwide. One of the favorite activities of FC Barcelona’s fans is to visit the famous Nou Camp stadium, which has a capacity of 98,787 spectators. This visit is called Camp Nou Experience and includes a tour to the facilities, the museum and a multimedia space , including an audio guide. Activities last between an hour and a half and two hours. Visiting the museum you will learn the team history, their victories and even see the real cup awards they’ve won. While visiting the facilities you will walk through the gallery, press room, locker rooms, players’ tunnel, among other interesting places. In addition, you can visit the FCBotiga, the official merchandise store of Barça.

Hours: ·Mon to Sat (from 29/03 to 3/10): 10am to 8pm. Tour Camp Nou is open until one hour before the closing of the Museum. The rest of the year museum hours are from 10am to 6:30pm. ·Sundays and Holidays (all year long) 10am a 2:30pm. Tour Camp Nouis open until one hour before the closing of the Museum. · Jan 1 & 6, Dec 25 Museum and Camp Nou Tour are closed.
