Operate – We help you create the procedures to keep your systems running smoothly. We provide ongoing management and support to the level you need, whether that's our annual fixed-price service or our pay-as-you-go IT support , delivering system and network support round the clock, 365 days a year.

Supporting your network Keeping your systems and network healthy can involve a mix of 'preventive medicine' and 'emergency surgery'. Yet, too often, IT support contracts are little better than insurance: you pay every year for a break-fix repair service, whether you use it or not. Our range of IT support and network support services is different. We provide services to keep your networking running smoothly day in, day out. Each of the elements of our service is available separately, allowing you to pick and choose to create a support service tailored to the exact needs of your business.

Spectrum Spectrum is Connectology's annual fixed-price network support service, designed for growing businesses that need an IT support partner they can rely on. Spectrum is designed to be flexible. You may need an onsite engineer as often as one day a week or as little as one day a month. You might want remote dial-in assistance and 24x7 telephone support, or simply during office-hours. We build a support package that meets the specific needs of your business, allowing you to get the most from your IT spend.

FailSafe FailSafe is our proactive IT monitoring and support service that removes the pain of system downtime and allows you to concentrate on running your business. FailSafe proactively monitors your systems around the clock 24x7, instantly making you aware of any problems that arise. If they do, we find the cause, fix the problem and notify you – often before you have even experienced the symptoms – saving you hours of downtime.

Continuum When components in your network fail, you need to get them replaced quickly enough to avoid disruption. Continuum, our hardware replacement service designed especially for your Cisco devices, gives you exactly the right level of cover for your business, making your budget go further.

Enhanced Support Services ESS is our pay-as-you go support service that enables you to purchase support units that you can call upon each time you have a problem that requires our support. ESS units give you access to our telephone support, remote hands-on support and onsite support services as and when you need them. And ESS units have no use-by date and never expire.


Improving performance IT underpins the successful operation of your business. When your IT systems fail to perform as they should, your business suffers. Telephony Audit Our Telephony Audit is a fixed-price service that looks at everything from your current technology to your contracts with carriers to your maintenance deals. We report back on the fixes that can be implemented for immediate benefit and where appropriate, create a blueprint for your evolution to IP telephony.

Network Analysis Our Network Analysis service is designed to get to the root causes of why your network isn't performing – every time. We bring specialist equipment to your site that allows us to view traffic in ways that most network monitoring tools simply aren't designed to do. Our forensic approach means we'll dig until we uncover the underlying reason and recommend the most cost-effective way to solve it.

Security Audit Our Security Audits review all aspects of your system and network security to identify weaknesses. We examine everything from password sets for users and devices such as routers to the way your firewall filters traffic. We'll also carry out penetration testing, mimicking threats such as viruses to identify weaknesses in your systems.

Delivering change At Connectology, we don't just create technical designs that deliver your immediate business goals. We also have an eye on the longer-term, creating flexible solutions that grow with your changing needs. We provide effective project management to deliver your project on time and within budget. We go beyond the technical specification to map out the project logistics. We also determine from the outset how we will work with you to measure and control the project.

Planning for Change Making a major change to your IT systems, such as rolling out a new application or moving your operations to a server farm, can hit your network hard. We analyse your existing traffic and emulate the expected traffic on your proposed system to determine the impact on bandwidth and users. Where problems arise, we recommend modifications to your systems to deliver the performance you need.
