hen I was a kid, we had family dinners every night. My dad was a successful dentist and my mom was a lawyer/politician, so they were busy. And my sisters and I were busy with all sorts of activities like choir, student council, musicals and more. But somehow, I always felt connected to my parents. Despite the fact that they were both successful in their chosen careers, they always talked to us. They always knew what was going on in our lives. And I felt like I could talk to them about anything. These days, things seem to be different. And I’m not sure what happened, but it seems

like most families’ way of life today doesn’t focus on keeping the parent/child connection close. We could blame it on technology or a highly competitive culture (thus, the need to have your child in 10 different activities and be the best at all of them). Whatever the reason, just because most of our society is becoming more and more disconnected, that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice that closeness with your children. Being a single mom of two boys, I know all too well the importance of building and keeping a strong connection with your children. So, here are five simple ways you can stay connected to your children:
3.Figure out what they like and learn about it. Does your child like skateboarding? Playing with the Rubik’s cube? Creating art? Every kid has their own “thing” that they are passionate about. So take some time to learn about it so you can share in their joy! Here’s one example. My sister’s son is a huge car fanatic. She, on the other hand, couldn’t care less about them. So in order to stay connected to him, she decided to do some research on the fastest cars in the world, so she could have a quality conversation with him. “T
he planet hung, suspended in space, turning
slowly on its axis…while more distant stars twinkled in the background. Strange stars. Unfamiliar stars. “There,” the president of the Earth Jewish Council, Mr. Nachum Koch, said, pointing at the holographic image of the planet with his forefinger. “Beta Centauri C. A scout ship made planetfall there just three days ago, and there are definite plans to colonize it. We need to organize a Jewish delegation to join the next ship that’s going...
”
Five years later, the huge colony ship Expedition starts out on its journey. On board are thousands of pioneers ready to populate the promising new planet, including two hundred frum Jews who will establish its Jewish community. They set off with high hopes for the future, oblivious to the danger that is lurking within the ship…an imposter whose mission is sabotage. Koby Fein, fun-loving, adventurous and easily bored, has boundless energy and a never-ending need for excitement. Though his older sister Shifra is miserable about their one-way journey, Koby is thrilled. But life on the spaceship quickly loses its allure, and Koby sets out to find some action. When he convinces his new friend Gavriel to stow away with him on a short shuttle ride, he gets more excitement than he bargained for…and learns some important lessons along the way.
This action-packed book will take you on a fascinating journey, hurtling through space at nearly the speed of light. You will find adventure and suspense, danger and intrigue, friendship and acceptance—and a cast of characters who live in a futuristic world, but whose challenges and triumphs may be just like your own.

haiky Struk, 28, was always sure that she needed certain conditions to be able to fulfill her task in this world –
tranquility, relaxation, a steady income, nachas. Although here and there little problems cropped up, such as living far from her parents, and her loneliness after following her husband to a new place, she copes with these things well. She has two cute, talented children, and she works as the manager of a community center in Yokneam. It’s a good job, she is admired in the community and everything is fine. Life is good, and HaKadosh Baruch Hu is hardly part of it…

ADVERTISING - AD CAMPAIGN
T
he goal of this campaign was to get parents to take their children out of the house, so that the child will be able to experience the world the way every child should, such as playing in the park, building sand castles, swinging on a swing, and getting their shoes covered in mud. To have parents realize that if their child plays video games the whole day, what kind of childhood memories will their child have?

or the following ad campaign I was thinking of going for an exaggerating approach. One of the brand’s main selling point is that their makeup is “Travel Size” so that people who travel can easily bring their makeup along, or people who like to touch up their makeup at work don’t have a regular size tube but a small easy to carry around size. The following show ads show an exaggeration to the regular size makeup
