Ex.t nel 2016 lancia due nuove collezioni, una firmata dai Norm.Architects, l’altra dal designer Sebastian Herkner. Caratterizzate da stili diversi per offrire una grande varietà di prodotti, entrambe le collezioni esprimono valori fondamentali di Ex.t: artigianalità, massima qualità, innovazione e versatilità. Ex.t è molto orgogliosa di rinnovare la vincente collaborazione con lo studio danese Norm.Architects e di accogliere la nuova partnership con il designer tedesco Sebastian Herkner, rafforzando la propria missione di unire le ultime tendenze del design internazionale con l’eredità artigianale italiana e creare un arredamento bagno versatile che che si ispira sempre più al mondo dell’home design.
In 2016 Ex.t is unveiling two different collections designed by Norm.Architects and designer Sebastian Herkner. Featuring two distinct styles in a rich range of products, the collections hold Ex.t’s core values of craftsmanship, top quality standards, innovation and versatility at their very heart. Ex.t is very proud to renovate its successful collaboration with Danish studio Norm.Architects and to welcome the new partnership with the German designer Sebastian Herkner, endorsing the brand’s mission to unite the global design trends with the Tuscan artisan heritage, in order to create bathroom furniture inspired by the home design world and suitable for many living spaces.

Plateau, la prima collezione bagno del designer tedesco Sebastian Herkner, nasce dall’idea di giocare e sperimentare con forme e colori per creare una serie di prodotti eleganti e raffinati ma allo stesso tempo funzionali e versatili. Con questo in mente, Sebastian ha creato un leitmotiv stilistico per l’intera collezione: il plateau laterale. Elemento ricorrente, dalla vasca da bagno al lavandino, fino agli specchi, il plateau come un’ombra in movimento si posa su superfici diverse ma mantiene inalterata la sua forma originale. Una serie di lampade in vetro - Raso - completa la collezione, regalando luce e colore ad un nuovo concetto di stanza da bagno in continuo movimento ed evoluzione, che sfuma sempre più i confini con gli altri ambienti della casa.
Plateau, the first bathroom collection for German designer Sebastian Herkner, is inspired by the idea of playing and experimenting with shapes and colours, to create a set of products that are stylish as well as useful and versatile. That’s how a sidetracking plateau came up, becoming the stylistic leitmotif for the entire collection. Functional and elegant, this detail is a feature in every piece from the bathtub and washbasin to the mirrors, just as a shadow in movement sets down on different surfaces whilst keeping its shape. A set of tactile lamps called Raso completes the collection giving light and colours to a new concept of bathroom that is continuously blurring its borders with the other spaces.

Disponibili in forma rotonda e ovale, sono caratterizzati da un plateau laterale in vetro satinato, disponibile in rosa, grigio, bianco o in vetro trasparente. Lo specchio ovale può essere montato sia in posizione verticale che orizzontale.

La linea Raso si compone di due lampade in vetro dal design ricercato. Ispirate dalla morbidezza dei tessuti setosi, diffondono un’illuminazione soffusa e delicata grazie al contrasto tra il vetro opaco e il vetro lucido che ne definisce il design. Disponibili in rosa, grigio, bianco e vetro trasparente per coordinarsi con gli specchi Plateau. Dal bagno alla camera, come nel negozio o nel ristorante, le lampade Raso sono illuminazioni perfette per dare un tocco di stile a diverse location.
The Raso line features two unique design lamps made of glass. Inspired by the softness of a silky texture, they give a suffused and delicate illumination thanks to the contrasting clear and frosted glass which defines the design. La collezione presenta un sistema modulare di consolle e mobili, un elegante daybed e un pouf, disegnati per adattarsi perfettamente a qualsiasi ambiente della casa, oltre al bagno. Per questa collezione, i Norm si sono ispirati ad un’estetica industriale e agli arredamenti danesi in legno tipici della metà del XX secolo, dando vita ad una serie di mobili da bagno leggeri e ariosi che possono evolvere con la casa, decorando ambienti diversi. Combinazione armonica di attitudine nordica e tradizione artigianale italiana, la collezione è stata concepita per un nuovo mercato sempre più alla ricerca di un arredo bagno dinamico e versatile.
To complete the Stand line, Norm.Architects are presenting their second collection for Ex.t. Called Frame & Rest, the collection is inspired by bathroom consoles from industrial interiors and mid 20th century Danish design furniture, creating a light, airy set of bathroom furniture which can evolve along with your home whilst decorating many different living spaces. The line features a modular system of consoles and furniture, along with an elegant daybed and a pouf suitable for the bathroom and beyond. Embodying a Nordic attitude with the Italian core of traditional craftsmanship, this collection is conceived for a new market which is more and more asking for versatile bathroom furniture.

Frame è un sistema modulare di consolle e mobili da bagno. Design rigoroso e minimalista, diventa un delicato complemento grafico dal fascino nordico. Frame è un sistema funzionale e flessibile, caratterizzato da strutture nere componibili in varie combinazioni. Le strutture in acciaio sono concepite per accogliere lavabi da incasso in LivingTec® di diverse dimensioni o piani d’appoggio in legno, LivingTec® e pietra, rendendo Frame il complemento d’arredo ideale per ogni ambiente della casa. Le strutture permettono anche l’incastro di un mobile in legno verniciato o di cassetti per riporre i propri oggetti e la biancheria.
Frame is a modular system of bathroom consoles and furniture. Featuring a straight and minimalist design, it turns as a delicate graphic piece with a Nordic allure. The Frame is a flexible system consisting of a number of black graphic frames, customisable depending on your needs and with a functional purpose. The main steel structure is designed to accommodate the basin as well as a counter top in various material such as wood, LivingTec®, marble and stone, while the inside allows you to hang a varnished wood cabinet or a drawer for storage. Thanks to its versatility, Frame is a perfect solution for any living space.

La linea Rest si ispira ai pouf, daybed e alle poltrone che si usano nei camerini o nelle stanze guardaroba, ed è concepita per arredare oltre la stanza da bagno. Un tradizionale ed elegante daybed a sei gambe insieme al pouf, richiamano l’estetica Bauhaus e industriale. Proponendo un nuovo concetto della seduta da bagno, la linea Rest è caratterizzata da una struttura tubolare di metallo rifinita da piccoli dettagli in ottone e cuscini di eco-pelle.
The rest line is inspired by poufs, daybeds and chairs that are used in fitting rooms and wardrobes, and is designed in order to create something that can be used in the bathroom and beyond. A traditional and elegant six legged daybed structure together with the pouf are both inspired by the Bauhaus aesthetic. Pushing a new concept of comfortable seating, they feature a structure of metal tubes refined
