WEBSITE PARTICIPATION GUIDE

_dmedia website participation guide site overview: dmedia.class hub A place for the class participants to share their point of view on media+design through images and links.

dmedia.content A single stop for all content related to class: sprouts, lectures, links, and assignments. Curated by the teaching team.

dmedia.contributions The contributions page has a dual purpose: it is a place to post digital captures of projects and assignments & it is a place to post any thoughts, ideas, and links that you think might interest the rest of class. Any ideas you have should be shared here. Think of it as a collaborative blog + deliverables page. This page will be the most acticve. Note: site is compatible with Firefox & Safari. Has not been tested in IE or other browsers.

first steps: 1. Share your point of view on the Class Hub with a photo square: a photo + a link. Photo squares are a visual representation (photo) of something about yourself that you’d like to share with the class (a photo of yourself, a photo you took, or a photo you found) combined with a link to a site that represents your current interests (your blog, a video url, etc.). To get started, go to the class hub & click on [guidelines]

2. Check out this week’s content on the Content Site. To get started, just click on the content button. 3. Post the digital version of your mini-project 01 deliverable to the Contribute page. Post your digital file of your mini-project to the contribute site (be sure to tag it based on the guidelines). To get started, go to the contribute page then click on [guidelines]
