Town of Mount Pleasant Recreation BLESSING OF THE FLEET AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

The Mount Pleasant Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival, presented by East Cooper Medical Center and Harris Teeter, at Mount Pleasant’s crown jewel, Memorial Waterfront Park on the Charleston Harbor, is South Carolina’s largest tribute event honoring the many generations of shrimpers and commercial fishermen who dedicate their lives to braving the ocean to provide us with fresh local seafood. Live music, a ceremonial blessing and boat parade, crafters’ village, beer garden, and plenty of local seafood offered by local restaurants make for one of the best spring events in our state.
