Outcomes For Partner Companies
Design Factory offers diverse programs for corporate sponsorship.
DFK Projects offer companies new inspiration and solutions from the creative mind of students. It is an easy way to meet students, professors, and start a co-operation with Yonsei University.
1
The easiest way is to join the DFK Capstone Project as a sponsoring company. In the Capstone project, students conceive, develop and generate innovative services and products. There are about 4-6 students per project. Teams are always interdisciplinary and often international.
Our partner companies will get a proof of concept solution to the provided challenge, supported by research and design-led innovation process. In addition, the partner companies will experience the development process together with the students, and therefore gain both tangible and intangible benefits and learning experience. The partner will gain most by bringing an open co-creation mindset.
Students work together with company’s specified challenge to create a product that satisfies the values of innovative design, manufacturability and marketability. Objectives include idea generation, problem solving, new value generation, product/ service creation, and project management.
2
The second way is to join sponsor of
Customized DFK Project. Customized Projects needs time and effort in designing the budget, schedule, and project challenge. However, it will provide the company a tailored project just for their needs. Projects are possible to do in collaboration with other Design Factories thus making it global project utilizing skills and knowledge from two or more countries.
